Q: Will there be a chat filter?
A: Yes there is, at least in other versions there were.
Q: When is CB estimated to start?
A: week of nov. 26
Q: How will everyone be chosen? Will it be off other sites, like Domo?
A: First- Top Spenders + Volunteers
Second- CB Signups
Third- Promotional Signups
Q: What will be the max level?
A: 1. Easy: You get 5 Stat Points, and 3 Skill Points for each level. Max lvl 30 without Special Skill. Level up speed: very fast
2. Normal : You get 5 Stat Points, and 3 Skill Points for each level. Max lvl 60 with Special Skill. Level up speed: normal
3. Hard: You get 7 Stat Points, and 4 Skill Points for each level. Max lvl 60 with Special and Hard Skill. Level up speed: slow (You must have a Normal character of lvl 50 to unlock Hard Mode)
4. Ultimate (same Hardcore in Diablo 2): You get 9 Stat Points, and 4 Skill Points for each level. Max lvl 60 with Special, Hard, Ultimate Skill. Level up speed: slow (same as Hard mode)(You must have Hard character lvl 50 to unlock Ultimate Mode). When your character dies, it is lost forever.
Q: What are the classes, weapons for classes, and bonuses for each class?
A: Human - Fighter
The Fighter is your standard melee combatant. Up close and personal is how the Fighter prefers confrontation. Physical attack power is the focus of the Fighter, but don’t be fooled. A certain amount of Magical Points (MP) is needed to power the Fighter’s devastating Special Skills.
Characteristics:
- Wide range of available weapons
- Powerful physical attacks
- Front-line brawler
- Automatically gains +1 to Strength (STR) each level
Human - Defender
The Defender is a tank. Defenders have high stamina and high hit points, enabling them to take a beating, but still stay standing. Unlike Fighters, Defenders can take on multiple foes at the same time with little worry. Defenders also have the ability to provoke enemies into attacking them, a useful skill when in groups.
Characteristics:
- Uses shields, one-handed swords, and blunt weapons
- High vitality and stamina
- First into the fray
- Automatically gains Reaction Defense boost and HP (+1 to REC) each level
Human - Priest
Relying on the spiritual nature of humans, the Priest is a true healer. The Priest uses healing magic to keep him / herself and party members healthy during battle. Priests can resurrect the dead, an extremely useful skill for keeping fallen comrades around. Priests also have a high resistance to magical attacks, making them a threat to Pagans.

- Ability to transform allies into powerful monsters
- Ability to transform enemies into harmless animals
- Automatically gains + 1 Wisdom each level
Elf - Ranger
The Ranger uses knowledge of the forest and the wilds to blend into the surroundings. Stealth and deception are the trademarks of a good Ranger. Ambush and evasion are staples of combat as a Ranger. They also know how to frighten some monsters away. Rangers can disguise themselves as harmless creatures, further enabling their stealth.

- High evasion ability
- Stealth and disguise
- Automatically gains +1 DEX per level
Elf - Archer
Striking from a distance helps keep Archers out of harm’s way. Archers use ranged attacks to wound and slow the enemy as well as lower its attack power or stop it in its tracks. Special skills of the Archer allow them to literally rain arrows down upon their targets. Archers also have Lady Luck smiling down on them, enabling them to make critical.

- Distanced attacks
- High accuracy
- Automatically gains fortune (+1 LUC) per level
Elf - Mage
One of the hallmarks of the Elf race is their use of magic. No other class so exemplifies this than the Mage. Attacking up close or far away, targeting one foe or many, the Mage uses the power of magic to destroy their enemies. Their ability to harness the power of fire, water, earth, and wind makes the Mage a force to be reckoned with.

- Single-target and area-of-effect attacks
- Automatically gains intelligence (+1 INT) per level
Vail - Assassin
The Union’s answer to the Ranger is the Assassin. Like the Ranger, stealth and deception are the trademarks of a good Assassin. Ambush and evasion are staples of the Assassin. They also know how to frighten some monsters away. Assassins can disguise themselves as harmless creatures or as the enemy, further enabling their stealth.

Vail - Pagan
Channeling spiritual forces allows the Pagan to unleash powerful magic-type attacks. Attacking up close or far away, targeting one foe or many, the Pagan uses spiritual magic to destroy their enemies. Their ability to harness the natural elements of fire, water, earth, and wind makes the Pagan a force to be reckoned with.
Characteristics:
- Awe-inspiring attacks
- Single-target and area-of-effect attacks
- Automatically gains intelligence (+1 INT) per level
Vail - Oracle
Like the Human Priest, the Oracle relies on the spiritual nature of the Vail to heal allies. They can resurrect the dead, an extremely useful skill for keeping fallen comrades around and a must when Ultimate characters are in the party. Oracles also have a high resistance to magical attacks, making them a threat to Mages.

Nordein - Warrior

Nordein - Hunter

Q: Will there be any special skills, not combat skills?
Q: Can you go underwater, like in Last Chaos?
A: The swim system will be like WoW
Q: What will be done about those who are caught using bots, macros, selling gold or items, and using third party programs? Meaning will there be different punishments for each of these offenses, and will there be a quick way to report these people?
Q: Do people in different game modes play on the same servers?
A: Yes they do.
Q:Are the pets limited to a faction?
A:Yep you got it right each class have 4 pets, in chapter 3. 2 for easy mode and 2 for hard mode . in easy mode 1 you can buy it by money in game and the other u can buy it by AP, same thing goes for hard mode pets. You have yo had at least lvl 40 on easy mode to use the easy mode pets and 50 in hard mode for hard mode pets.
Q: Will Shaiya support widescreen resolutions?
A: Yes, there are many resolutions that you may choose from.

Q: Do I have to start the game with an easy char? Does it end up at lvl 30?
A: You can start at Easy or Normal need to reach to level 50 to open up Hard.
Q: Can I start with a normal char? Does it end at lvl 60?
A: You can start at Easy or Normal need to reach to level 50 to open up Hard.
Q: To start a hard char do i have to lvl either an easy or a normal char?
A: Normal character till 50
Q: What are the in game requirements to create a guild?
A: To Create a Guild:
+You are lvl 11
+Have 1000 Gold (very cheap)
+Have a party (7 people)
Q: Are u able to transfer guild leadership around? like if u make it on ur "normal" char and then start a "hard" char, can u give ur hard char the leadership role?
A: You can't transfer Guild Leadership to other Character. You can use Your Normal Character (class 1 - Guild Master) add Your Hard Character into Guild, set Your Hard Character is Class 2 - Sub Leader. You can add member, kick member (can't kick Guild Master)
Q: How does being in a guild work with the modes?
A:All characters on one account share the saame warehouse, you can hand down items to another char. Might be worth saving some of them.
Q: If you make a new char, in a different mode, do you have to drop your guild, and join a new one?
A: Guess the ultimate char dies with all he carries, so better put the cash shop items into storage (or leave them in the retrieve dialog window). |
